I could see him from my kitchen - he was on his phone the entire time. I would think that could’ve been done later ? Researching for a parts supplier shouldn’t be done while still here if he is charging for his time! I got so sick of sitting there waiting while he didn’t communicate to me that I said I would make a coffee and come back. After a ridiculous amount of watching him and waiting I eventually asked what he was doing - he replied he was seeing if and where he was able to buy the casing for my model laptops. The guy arrived & sat at my kitchen table looking at the laptops - I sat at the table across from him so I wasn’t able to see his phone - which he kept picking up and scrolling through. So I booked someone to come out and “assess” the laptops. Read more or new casings & labour unless they looked at the laptops. I was told that they weren’t able to quote f. I said that no “assessment” was necessary as they work very well. I told them at the time of making the booking for repair that I could give them the model numbers etc for my laptops, and that I needed someone to order them and come out to fit them for me. Really upset that I was charged $265 for a guy to come and look at the laptops I need repaired (all screens, nothing internally wrong they are all in excellent working order but the screen hinges have broken so only new casing & hinges required).
